Do you truly need a car to bring home a bag of potting soil? Or a length of
carpet? Or your child?
Hundreds of men and women (particularly in cities like Portland, and
Davis) have been using bike trailers for similar tasks. From
ferrying advertisements to moving an entire house of stuff. SHIFT, a
Portland organization, utilizes trailers for hundreds of tasks, and the
entire community gets involved.

| Using a bicycle doesn't have to be a lot of work. | Can you ride a bike when your loaded? Sure. | Even two on a bike takes only half a parking space. | |||

We've all been in the same situation. You need to pick up a chair, or carry your extra bicycle to the shop, or maybe just pick up a week's worth of groceries. But your bike is only so big. Sure you could spend $300 for a company to mail you a trailer from some other city. But right here in Portland, I would be thrilled to build you your own bike trailer customized to the amount you want to carry. | |||||
